BACHELOR’S DEGREES

RN-BSN

Our RN to BSN program focuses on a population health-based curriculum with applicable practice experience, and our admissions process is transfer-credit friendly. The BSN degree offers registered nurses significant benefits for nursing career advancement. The RN to BSN program is offered online to allow nursing theory and practice education without the need for bedside clinical hours. This provides RNs with active licenses the opportunity for career advancement.

MASTER’S DEGREES

RN-MSN NURSE EXECUTIVE

Today, there is a great need for educated, experienced nurses to assume senior management positions in healthcare systems and other organizations. 

Our program provides you with management techniques and business acumen that, when combined with the values and attributes you’ve acquired as a nursing professional, will prepare you for an executive leadership role. 

RN-MSN NURSE EDUCATOR

The shortage of qualified nurse educators is a major factor in today’s nursing shortage, creating strong opportunities for registered nurses to pursue an online MSN in nursing education. These flexible programs prepare working nurses for teaching roles in colleges, universities, and hospital-based programs by building on their clinical experience and providing essential coursework, such as advanced health assessment, to equip them to educate the next generation of nurses.

RN-MSN NURSING INFORMATICS

In today’s data-driven healthcare environment, Nursing Informatics specialists are in high demand as health systems rely on data to improve patient outcomes and guide crucial decisions. NMC’s two-year online MSN Informatics program—the only one of its kind in the region—prepares you to step into this impactful, future-focused role. You’ll gain the skills to analyze complex data, shape system-wide policies, and improve population health, all while balancing your studies with your professional and personal life.  

MSN CARE COORDINATOR

A nurse care coordinator serves as a vital link between public health, population health, and healthcare systems, working to improve outcomes for individuals with complex conditions across the lifespan. In this role, you are trained to coordinate care for patients, families, and communities by offering emotional support, guidance, education, and assistance in navigating healthcare systems—all in alignment with NMC’s mission to enhance quality care within the community.

DOCTORAL DEGREES

ADVANCED PRACTICE REGISTERED NURSE (APRN) to DNP

The online APRN to DNP program provides Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Anesthetists and Nurse Midwives the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills in population-based healthcare. In most cases, practitioners earn their Doctor of Nursing degree in about 36 months.

BSN-DNP – ADULT GERONTOLOGY CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST

The online doctoral program is for nurses looking to gain the highest degree level available for clinical practice nurses. Within the two available tracks, BSN to DNP or MSN to DNP, there are multiple program options, including Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist.

BSN-DNP – ADULT GERONTOLOGY PRIMARY CARE NURSE PRACTITIONER

Earn your Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Nebraska Methodist College and prepare to become an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. This terminal degree equips you to deliver holistic, relationship-centered care, diagnose and treat patients across the lifespan, and prescribe tailored treatments. With growing Full Practice Authority in many states, including Nebraska, you’ll be empowered to practice independently and even run your own clinic. This program provides the advanced skills and clinical experience you need to make a meaningful impact in outpatient care across both urban and rural communities. 

BSN-DNP – FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Nebraska Methodist College’s CCNE-accredited BSN to DNP – Family Nurse Practitioner program offers a flexible, primarily online pathway that prepares nurses to diagnose, treat and provide comprehensive care across the lifespan. With minimal on-campus requirements, strong academic support and a curriculum that blends clinical training with leadership, policy, informatics and population health, graduates are equipped for advanced practice and system-level impact. As more states grant Full Practice Authority, FNPs are increasingly able to practice independently and even operate their own clinics in both urban and rural settings

TRADITIONAL BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING

ACCELERATED BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING

Our Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is designed for individuals who have already completed a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing major. The program provides the opportunity to develop strong clinical skills, which are highly valued by employers and complete training in as little as 12 months.  

 

LPN to BSN (Hybrid)

Licensed Pratical Nurses (LPNs) have a unique opportunity to be successful in the transition to becoming a registered nurse. Your previous degree and work experience provide you with the skills needed to excel in the classroom and clinical settings. Coursework is primarily in person, allowing you to gain valuable hands-on experience and directly apply your skills in a real-world environment.
